As a result, we’ve included a list of frequently asked questions along with answers in order to provide additional support. Attendance, Cancellations and No-Shows and Condition for Treatment
Emergencies
Please note that Restful Mind is a one-provider practice at this time, and therefore cannot offer 24/7 coverage. If you require a higher level of care or comprehensive supports, I will be happy to provide you with resources that can better serve you.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency you must call 911 or proceed immediately to your nearest emergency room- if it is safe to do so.
In order to provide safe and effective care, every client is expected to arrive or log on on time and attend to all scheduled appointments unless arrangements have been previously made. Follow up appointment are 30 min long and initial evaluation is 60 min long. If you arrive more than 10 min late for any appointment, you will not be seen and a No-show fee of $100 will be charged. Additionally, if you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment, you must do so 48hrs in advance. A No-show fee will be charged to those appointments not cancelled within the required time. If you miss intermittent appointments or you miss two consecutive follow up sessions, your case will be closed.
Conditions for treatment:

Controlled substances are not provided.

Medication refills are not provided outside of appointments.

Frequency of appointments is determined on an individual basis.
Prescription Refills
Prescription refill requests should be made 72 hours in advance by voice message to (781) 591066. Please include your full name, date of birth, pharmacy, and the medication you are requesting. I do not accept refill requests solicited by pharmacies; requests must be made directly by the client/guardian.
Fee Schedule
This practice does not participate in insurance plans. This decision is based on my commitment to providing the best possible treatment while minimizing the impact of managed care and insurance restrictions. I realize you have a choice of mental health providers and apologize for any inconvenience.
Your health insurance policy may have out-of-network benefits which will allow you to see me. I encourage all my patients to contact their insurance to discuss their out-of-network benefits, as plans may reimburse a significant percentage of treatment costs. An itemized billing statement in a required format is provided monthly.
You can also use a Flexible Spending Account to help pay for your visits. These accounts are offered by many employers; please check with your benefits department for details.

All patients receive a receipt for the services provided that can be submitted for reimbursement. Full payment is due at the time of service.
